Lost Paradise Resort, Batu Ferringhi, Penang

'Lost Paradise? So there is also a Lost Paradise resort in Penang?' My friend asked. 'Don't worry, I will tell you all about it after my stay there' I told her. So this is it, the blog on Lost Paradise Resort in Penang Island. Actually there are so many Lost Paradise names in the world with even movies with this name. This is a small eco friendly hidden paradise along the Batu Ferringhi road.

Yeah, Lost Paradise Resort sounds really great and indeed there are rows of orchid flowers lining up along the driveway giving you a first welcome.

Truly a resort with rooms in different beautifully landscaped bungalows

Balinese style archways

Swimming pool lined with colorful tiles next to the sea

Lush spacious garden and walkway along the beach

Colorful stairway down onto the sea, where you can actually on it with your leg playfully kicking up the sea water

Entrance to the rooms on the first floor

Entrance to the rooms on the ground floor

Inside the room

The art pieces inside the room

Even the toilet door is of vibrant color and design

Leaving no stone unturned, the ceiling was equally well decorated with batik cloth and striking colorful lamps. There is also a fan on the ceiling although this room is equipped with an air conditioner.

Bed is a raised tiled area for the mattress which is equally colorful. There is an effort of providing the equally colorful comforter and bedsheet to match the whole room, but I prefer the normal big hotel chains of using white bed sheets as I feel white color depicts more cleanliness.

Seaview from my room.

The rates of Lost Paradise Resort rooms ranges from RM290++ to RM980++ for Royal family suite. Outdoor activities such as kayaking, fishing, hiking and round island tour can be arranged.

I saw this school called Lighthouse Academy inside this resort. Upon enquiry, the staff told me that it is a private school. Lighthouse Academy operates a private school for normal children and also a special school for children with special needs such as autistic children from kindergarten to level 12. Lost Paradise Resort was actually formerly Dr. Chew Yu Gee's home. Dr. Chew is a pediatrician and he started this Lighthouse Academy for children of special needs.
