Sydney Fish Market, Australia

A market full of fresh seafood! It's totally packed with people, jostling towards the restaurants. This is Sydney Fish Market!

This famous fish market in Sydney is the largest fish market in the southern hemisphere. I walk there from Darling Harbour Sydney along Pyrmont Street and Pyrmont Bridge Road and its about 15 minutes.

The prices of oysters are cheap and fresh here compared to that being sold in Malaysia.

The Green Moreton Bay Bugs
Balmain Bugs
Live Abalone
Special Live King Crab
Fresh Saucer Scallops! I bought a dozen of these home!
There are plenty of ready cooked dishes for you to choose from.

My lunch is a plate of lobster tail and cheese scallops. Don't be deceived by the looks of this lobster tails, there's actually a lot of meat in it. It is yummy!
There are plenty of seats outside. Initially, I was worried when I see all the seats are taken inside the fish market. In fact the outside tables are so much better.
So, make sure you take your seat outside, get your table along the deck on the wharf facing the water.
From here, food can be enjoyed with the nice cooling breeze and birds flying around.

These pelicans are swimming close near my table!
Inside the Sydney Fish Market, there are lots of people queuing to buy....
